An Expatriate Was Arrested In Hawally Area In Possession Of Two Kilograms Of Pure Heroin

 An Asian expatriate was arrested in Hawally area in possession of two kilograms of pure heroin, 250 grams of a different drug and drug paraphernalia. According to security sources, when the Director General of Directorate General for Drug Control Colonel Waleed Al-Duraie received information about an Asian expatriate involved in drug peddling in Hawally area, a team was formed for investigations. An undercover agent was sent to the suspect to purchase 250 grams of heroin for KD 6,500. During the transaction, the suspect was caught red-handed. When the team checked his apartment, they found two kilograms of pure heroin, 250 grams of a different drug and drug paraphernalia placed in a secret location inside the apartment. The suspect confessed that the drugs belong to him. Necessary action was taken after which the suspect was referred to the Public Prosecution.
