Bid To Smuggle Illicit Drugs Foiled

Customs officers at Kuwait airport foiled an attempt by one Asian expatriate to smuggle 2 kilos of drugs carefully hidden in his luggage. Apparently, the officers were inspecting the luggage of passengers arriving from an unnamed Asian country when they suspected the aforementioned baggage. They went ahead and searched the bag thoroughly and found illicit drugs. The suspect admitted smuggling the contraband to sell in the country. He was referred to Drug Control General Department.
