Bogus Maids Office Busted

In line with the continuous efforts exerted by the Ministry of Interior to prevent the spread of crimes and bring criminals to justice, officers from the General Department of Residency Affairs arrested a gang of eight Asians for operating a dummy domestic labor office and trafficking in domestic workers who escaped from their sponsors. In a press statement, the ministry revealed the department formed a task force when it received information on the illegal activities of the gang. After verifying the information, the officers raided the gang’s headquarters and arrested the gang members who were reported absconding by their sponsors.

A case was registered and the gang members were referred to the concerned security department for legal measures.
