Car Catches Fire After Collision In Sabah Al-salem Area
ire engulfed a vehicle in Sabah Al-Salem area at 9:40am. No casualties were reported. According to a press statement issued by Kuwait Fire Service Directorate (KFSD), when the Control Room of KFSD received information about the vehicle on fire, firefighters rushed to the location and extinguished the fire within 15 minutes. Meanwhile, fire broke out in a vehicle after it collided with another on the road between Qurain and Mubarak Al-Kabeer areas.
When the Control Room of KFSD received information about the accident at 10:13am, firefighters rushed to the location and pulled out the individuals who were trapped inside the vehicles. They had to cut parts of the vehicle for the rescue purposes. One of the victims sustained injuries and was referred to the nearest hospital. The firefighters extinguished the fire.
The entire process took about 45 minutes. In addition, some individuals who were trapped inside a faulty lift were rescued without sustaining any injuries. When the Control Room of KFSD received information at 8:59 am about some individuals trapped inside an out-oforder lift, firefighters rushed to the location and rescued them.
