Central Bank Of Kuwait Issued Commemorative Coins To Mark National And Liberation Day

To mark the 55th anniversary of the national day and 25th anniversary of the liberation, the Central Bank of Kuwait (CBK) had issued commemorative coins to celebrate both occasions, said a statement by the bank Saturday.

According to the statement, the design of the new commemorative coins well illustrates each occasion. Governor of the CBK, Dr. Mohammad Y. Al-Hashel said that the bank was proud to issue the new coins in commemoration of the national celebrations.

He congratulated His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, and the Kuwaiti people on the advent of the national occasions.

The Central Bank announced that those who wish to buy the gold-plated or silver commemorative coins should visit the CBK's banking hall Sunday, March 6th, 2016.

The selling price of the gold-plated and silver coins is at KD 45 and KD 35 respectively.
