Certina Launches Ds Action Series Watches
DS Action Sporty action and PrecidriveTM accuracy Equipped with a three-row brushed stainless-steel bracelet, the new DS Action is an impressive timepiece. Its broad bezel, oversized indices and skeletonised hands make reading the time a quick and easy task under all conditions. Those sporty attributes are enhanced by the uncompromising accuracy of its cutting-edge PrecidriveTM movement. The DS Action's bold dial comes in a variety of different colours, black, blue or green, to match the preferences of every watch lover—gent or lady.
The brushed 316L stainless-steel case of the new, Precidrive-equipped CERTINA DS Action is slightly oversized at 41 mm, to ensure a comfortable fit on both masculine and feminine wrists. Its broad, polished unidirectional bezel wears large, highly-visible numerals, as well as Superluminova markings around the first quadrant, from 12 to 3 o’clock.
Behind a sapphire crystal treated with anti-reflective coating on both faces, the black dial carries a date window conveniently placed at 3 o'clock. Additional Superluminova has been applied to the skeletonised HM hands, red-tipped central second hand, large dots at each five-minute mark and inside the bold triangular indices at 12, 6 and 9 o’clock, to ensure optimal underwater readability.
The multiple safety features and famous DS Concept (Double Security) assembly make the DS Action especially well-suited to demanding environments. A screw-on case back, as well as a protected screw-in crown inscribed with the letters "DS", allow a very high level of protection. The timepiece is water-resistant up to a pressure of 30 bar (300 m) and the presence of the historical CERTINA turtle logo on its case back is a faithful reminder of the DS Action’s outstanding quality and reliability.
Other versions of the DS Action are available to suit different tastes. A three-row stainless-steel bracelet version, another in full titanium, and a model with a rubber strap, all three of which are equipped with the same twin-push-button buckle with diver extension, for highest safety.
