Cop Stabbed By Mentally Ill Woman

A mentally-disturbed Kuwaiti woman almost killed a traffic patrol sergeant. The woman, who is in her thirties, stabbed the Interior Ministry serviceman near his heart. Her father accompanied her to the psychiatric hospital but she escaped during a moment of distraction.

The sergeant was leading a traffic patrol unit near the hospital when he saw an ambulance chasing a woman. He intervened instantly but she attacked him before stabbing herself in the abdomen . She later assaulted the paramedics staff who were transferring her by ambulance to the hospital for treatment. On arrival at the hospital, she attacked the doctors and nursing staff also.
