Cops Arrested A Gang Of Forgers For Selling Revenue Stamps

Personnel from the Criminal Investigation Department have arrested a gang of forgers for selling revenue stamps, reports Al-Shahed daily. The arrest came after the Operations Room of the Ministry of Interior received a tip-off on the activities of the suspects. The authorities then set a trap for the suspects, two Pakistanis and arrested them and during interrogation they admitted to forging KD 10 revenue stamps and selling them to an Egyptian mandoub for half the price. Police then raided the apartment of the suspects in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh and caught the suspects. Police have seized from the men equipment used for making stamps and referred the men to the authorities. Police have also seized from the men stamps ready for sale. Police are looking for one of the accomplices.
