Five Kuwaitis acquitted of fighting for, funding ISIL Four of the accused have allegedly fought against the Iraqi Army in Biyaji area and various parts of Syria. Earlier, the Public Prosecution charged four of the accused of participating in a banned organization by carrying out hostile actions against a friendly country, thereby, jeopardizing Kuwait’s relations with Iraq, and even its security. The other was charged with funding the ISIL and facilitating procurements for the other four in order to join and fight along with the banned group against a friendly country.
