Court Aquitted A Female Bank Employee Over A Fraud Case

17 May 2016 Kuwait

The Misdemeanor Court presided over by Judge Faisal Al-Askari acquitted a female employee of a local bank of alleged falsification of documents and illegal withdrawal of KD 70,000 from the bank account of a Kuwaiti citizen.

According to the case file, an employee in the legal unit of the bank testified that KD 70,000 was withdrawn in cash from the plaintiff’s account in 17 different tranches through the ATM machine. He presented images captured by the surveillance camera of the withdrawals.

However, the defense counsel Lawyer Ayed Al-Rashidi stressed that his client is innocent of the allegation, insisting that it is unreasonable to accuse his client of falsification without concrete evidences.
