Criminal Court Acquitted An Asian Woman Who Was Accused In Stealing Cash From Citizens House

The Criminal Court acquitted an Asian woman of stealing from a citizen’s house. The Public Prosecution charged the woman, along with two unidentified persons, with stealing cash and valuables when they broke into the house of the citizen as described in investigation reports. Details of the case revealed that when the victim returned to his house one night, he was surprised to see the outside door open and broken. Upon entering the house, he found out that some cash and valuables were missing. Attorney Ismet Kherbotala, who represented the Asian woman in court, pointed out the lack of incriminating evidence so she requested for acquittal of her client asserting the arrest and search procedures taken by the officer in charge of the case were invalid and inconclusive.
