Criminal Court Acquitts An Egyptian Of Smuggling 15,000 Tramadol Pills
Category: Kuwait Local News

The Criminal Court, chaired by Judge Mohammad Ghazi Al-Mutairi, acquitted an Egyptian of smuggling 15,000 Tramadol pills upon arrival at Kuwait International Airport from Suhaj in Egypt.
The case file indicates that the customs officer checked the suspect at the counter but did not detect the drugs in the luggage. The officer noticed the bulging clothes of the suspect, so he inspected him resulting in the discovery of the narcotic pills.
However, defense counsel, Attorney En’am Haider, argued in court that her client did not smuggle Tramadol into the country. She insisted the investigations were faulty and reiterated her client did not commit the crime.
