Customs At The Abdali Border Foiled 2 Attempts To Smuggle Drugs From Iraq

Customs officers at the Abdali border post recently foiled two attempts to smuggle drugs into the country from Iraq, reports Al- Rai daily quoting security sources. The same sources said in the first attempt the suspect attempted to smuggle two kilos of hashish and in the second attempt a Syrian trucker attempted to smuggle 25,944 Captagon tablets hidden inside the tool box of his truck. The contrabands and the 2 suspects have been referred to the authorities.
