Death For Indian In Murder Of Afghan

The Court of Appeals presided over by Judge Abdullah Al-Othman sentenced an Indian expatriate to death for murdering an Afghan expatriate in Saad Al-Abdullah area during a quarrel over a financial matter. The court also ordered the suspect to pay compensation worth KD 5,001 to the heirs of the victim. According to the case file, an argument between the two expatriates over a loan worth KD 3,000 developed into a fight, ending with the Indian murdering the Afghan. He then tried to hide the corpse but he was caught red-handed by his sponsor. He confessed that he killed the victim over a debt worth KD 3,000.
