Denmark Eggs Banned Due To Outbreak Of Bird Flu

Public Authority for Agricultural Affairs & Fish Resources (PAAAFR) has issued a temporary decision banning import of all live birds, hatching eggs, chicks (day old) and chicken egg and broilers from Denmark due to outbreak of bird flu (H7N7), which is less fatal than the (H5N1), says Al Seyassah daily.

In a statement, Director of PAAAFR Engineer Faisal Al-Hasawi said all shipments will be subjected to conditions and regulations of the Department of Animal Health at PAAAFR in accordance with standards of the World Organization for Animal Health and stipulations of the veterinary quarantine in Kuwait and other GCC countries.
