Department Of Mosques In Jahra Ordered Official Dress Code

The Department of Mosques in Jahra has ordered its “Imams” and “Muezzins” to stick to official dress code that consists of “dishdasha” and “ghutrah” while performing their duties in the mosque.

A circular from the Director of Mosques in Jahra Ibrahim Al-Enezi directs the Imams and Muezzins to adhere to the official dress code to preserve prestige of the mosques and that of employees. It warned violators of the dress code will be subjected to legal action.
