Details Of New Kuwaiti Passport Went Viral On Social Media

Assistant Undersecretary for Citizenship and Passport Affairs Major General Sheikh Mazen Al-Jarrah Al-Sabah revealed that Kuwait has circulated samples of the new Kuwaiti passports to different countries.

He explained that the samples sent were of special, diplomatic and standard passports, and the date for issuance of such passports to citizens is nearing. Specific authorities in various countries have been informed about the need to take necessary measures for accepting the new Kuwaiti passports.

In response to the pictures of a passport carrying his photograph and showing date of birth as 1984 that went viral on social media, Major General Sheikh Mazen Al-Jarrah said the pictures are just example of the new passport and the data it contain are not true but was aimed to indicate the kind of information the passport would contain.
