Dogs Sniff Out Drugs
An Indian was arrested for trying to smuggle an undisclosed quantity of marijuana into the country but his attempt failed as police dogs started barking when he approached the luggage inspection center at the airport, reports Al-Rai daily. Airport Customs Department Supervisor Suleiman Al- Fahad revealed that while inspecting the luggage of passengers coming from Mumbai, the inspectors’ work was interrupted as the police dogs kept on barking near a bag. This led to the discovery of the narcotic substances. A case was registered and the Indian was referred to the relevant security department for prosecution.
