Door To Door Illegal Activities Busted
Security operatives arrested a gang of ‘house to house’ service prostitutes in Jleeb Shuyoukh. The suspects allegedly patronized clients free of charge inside private apartments and rooms in Jleeb area.
A security source said the Head of Jleeb Shuyoukh police station Colonel Ibrahim Al-Da’ay received a tip off that a Sri Lankan woman was managing a prostitution ring, and her method of operation was to show catalogue to prospective clients through which the latter would pick their preference among the prostitutes. Later on, she would ‘deliver’ the prostitute(s) to the client’s residence.
The police chief formed teams of officers to monitor suspicious buildings and after verifying the information, the officers raided the apartments and succeeded in rounding up Sri Lankan, Filipino and Ethiopian prostitutes. They also confiscated catalogue containing photos of the prostitutes in night dresses. All suspects have since been referred to concerned authorities for legal measures.
