Drone In Palace

Officers from State Security Department and Military Intelligence found a small drone equipped with a camera which was seen circling around the Bayan Palace last Thursday, reports Al- Rai daily.

According to security sources, an Egyptian employee of the palace noticed a small plane hovering in the vicinity of the palace, which had soon disappeared from sight. He immediately informed the concerned authorities. Personnel from State Security Department and Military Intelligence conducted investigations and searched the area to find the drone stuck on top of a palm tree in the garden of the palace.

They dismantled it and found a camera. The sources revealed that the images recorded by the camera are being examined and investigations are ongoing, indicating the possibility that the owner of drone is a resident living near the palace.
