Drug Peddler May Face Death Penalty If Found Guilty

Personnel from the General Department for Drugs Control have arrested a Bangladeshi for trading in drugs, reports Al-Anba daily. Acting on a tip-off, police reported set a trap for him and caught him redhanded while selling 250 grams of marijuana to a police agent for KD 2,000. Armed with a search and arrest warrant issued by the Public Prosecution, detectives then raided his home and confiscated 3 kilograms of the drug. During interrogation, he has admitted to smuggling drugs into the country. If he is found guilty, he faces the death penalty.
