Human Resources Department Director at the Ministry of Education Soud Al-Juwaisar has denied the alleged resignation of expatriate teachers who signed contracts with the ministry recently due to the decision to reduce their housing allowance, reports Al-Rai.

In a press statement, Al-Juwaisar clarified a Jordanian teacher resigned after being diagnosed with cancer and this happened before the issuance of the decision to reduce the housing allowance. He affirmed the atmosphere in the Administrative Sector remains calm.

Meanwhile, Al-Juwaisar said the academic and work experience certificates of 14 newly-hired teachers are being verified through the Office of the Cultural Attaché at the Embassy of Kuwait in Cairo, Egypt. He added these teachers graduated from Egyptian universities with different specializations including Physical Education, Music, Mathematics, English and Science.
