Egyptian Arrested For Forging Residency Documents For Expats

Residency affairs department detectives arrested an Egyptian man for forging several transactions and documents from the disputes committee which are given to expats in order to settle labor disputes. The man would offer the forged documents to expats in exchange of money, according to investigations. After receiving information about the issue, detectives’ investigations led to finding out that the forger processed several transactions with the signature of the committee’s chairman on them. They then arrested one of the people who received a forged transaction. The man told them that a person gave him the document for KD 350. He gave police his information which they used to track and put him under arrest.
