Egyptian Arrested For Presenting Fake Civil Id

Detectives from Farwaniya Residency Affairs Department arrested an Egyptian company representative for presenting a civil ID that does not belong to him and for forging his sponsor’s signature. The suspect submitted a transaction to the department but he ran away when an official discovered that he presented another person’s ID whose owner provided police with information about the Egyptian. This led to the arrest of the Egyptian who admitted that he forged the application to extend the residency of his Filipina wife in order to avoid paying huge fine.
