Egyptian Robbed In Salmiya

An unknown individual waylaid an Egyptian expatriate in Salmiya area and robbed him of his mobile phone and wallet, which contained his bank cards and money. According to security sources, the victim lodged a complaint at Salmiya Police Station against the unknown suspect, explaining that he was walking down a street in Salmiya area when a man armed with a knife stopped him and hit him. He then stole his wallet and mobile phone and fled from the location in his vehicle.

The victim revealed that prior to the incident he had withdrawn some money from the bank, indicating that the suspect might have been following him after he left the bank. He provided securitymen with the description of the suspect and his vehicle. A case was registered and investigations have been launched to find and arrest the suspect.
