Embassy To Celebrate Indian Independence Day

A Flag hoisting ceremony will be held at Indian Embassy Premises in the Diplomatic Enclave on Arabian Gulf Street on Monday, 15 August 2016. The event begins at 0800 hours to celebrate the 70th Independence Day of India. 

After unfurling of the tri-colour National Flag, Ambassador will read out the message of the Hon’ble President of India. Thereafter, cultural programme with singing of patriotic songs will take place. There is an Open House Reception where light refreshments (Chhole, Bhature, Gulab Jamun, tea, juice, water etc) will be served to all.

All Indian nationals in Kuwait are most cordially invited to attend the Independence Day celebrations. (Please arrive by 0730 hours.)
