Employees Registered On Government Contracts Are Not Allowed To Transfer To Private Sector

Project visa cannot be transfered to private sector local daily Arab Times reported quoting Minister of Social Affairs and Labor Hend Al-Subaih.

According to report, the recent decision regarding the transfer of government contracts only allows personnel to transfer to the main file of the same employer in private sector based on stipulations that necessitate the employer to present ‘estimation of need’ to justify the transfer of personnel.

Minister also refuted rumors which say the sector will be open the door for domestic workers to transfer their residence to private sector subsequent to the recent decision organizing the transfer of workers from one employer to another.
