Ethiopian Woman Arrested

An Ethiopian woman was arrested at Kuwait International Airport in possession of three kilograms of betel leaves. According to sources, customs officers were checking the luggage of passengers who arrived from an African country when they found three kilograms of betel leaves in the luggage of an Ethiopian woman. When they questioned her, she revealed that she was planning to sell them in Kuwait. She was referred with the confiscated betel leaves to the General Department for Drug Control for necessary legal action.
