Everything You Should Know Jaber Al Ahmed International Stadium Kuwait

Jaber Al-Ahmad International Stadium is a Multi-Purpose Stadium located in ardiya area of Kuwait, it is used mostly for Football matches and Athletics. The stadium has a capacity of 60,000 seated spectators, the building is constructed in 4 levels, with 54 corporate boxes, 6000 car parking’s.

 

• Jaber Al Ahmed International stadium design phase started in 2000 and completed by 2003, it is designed by Weidleplan Consulting GmbH

       

 

• In 2004 Kharafi group won the bid for the construction of stadium

       

• Constructed started in 2004 and completed by 2009

    

• First official match held -  November 6, 2010 when 58,604 people filled the grounds to watch the final of the 2010 Asian Federation Cup

      

• It was expected to open by end of 2010, but the building failed structural-integrity testing and remains closed.

    

• His Highness the Amir due to inaugurate Jaber Al-Ahmad stadium today , 18^th December 2015

    

• Kuwait Champions Challenge will be held on opening day 18^th December between Kuwait Start Players and famous World Wide football players
