Expat Arrested For Possessing Ice Drug
An unidentified expatriate was arrested in possession of 1.25 kilograms of ‘Ice’ drug. When officers from the Drug Control General Department received a tip-off about the suspect’s involvement in drug peddling, they monitored his activities until they confirmed the information. They secured a warrant of arrest from the concerned department and set him up with an undercover agent who agreed to purchase some drugs from the suspect. They arrested the suspect after the sale was complete and the marked currency was found on him. He was found in possession of 1.25 kilograms of ‘Ice’ drug and he was referred with the seized illicit substance to the concerned authority.
