Expat Deported For Flouting Traffic Rules

An expatriate is to be deported for flouting traffic rules in Kuwait. He was arrested in a major clampdown covering five governorates in Kuwait.

The clampdown which started on last Thursday resulted in 3,995 fines and 234 vehicles confiscation for flouting traffic rules and regulations.

Ten juveniles were also referred to competent authorities for driving without license.

The General Directorate of Traffic said that it would conduct unannounced inspections to deter lawbreakers, crackdown on wrong practices and enforce driving rules and regulations.
