Fire Services Deals With 111 Accidents During Eid

The Kuwait Fire Services Directorate (KFSD) said that it dealt with 111 reports during the Eid Al-Adha holiday, including 45 fires in various areas around Kuwait. KFSD added that its teams dealt with 16 fires, 20 rescue operations and five service calls on the first day, 22 fires, 19 rescue operations and 6 service ones on the second day in addition to 7 fires, 12 rescue operations and 4 service operations on the third day. The department also stressed that most fires were due to electric short circuits, while most rescue operations were related to traffic accidents and elevator malfunctions.
