Fireworks Worth Kd 1 Million Seized

Customs officers at the Shuwaikh Port recently foiled an attempt of an unidentified person to smuggle into the country fireworks worth KD 1 million. According to the customs sources, the bill lading showed the container was carrying household goods and gloves and the contraband was neatly stacked inside the utensils and gloves. The contraband has been seized and a case has been filed against the goods importing company.
