Five Kuwaitis Arrested For Assaulting Cops

Police have referred five Kuwaitis to the Rumaithiya Police Station for assaulting four policemen, reports Al-Rai daily. A security source said this happened when two securitymen rushed to the Al-Ta’awon Street opposite Rumaithiya and ordered passersby who had gathered in the area to disperse. However, five of them refused and started to assault the two patrolmen. It so happened that 3 policemen working for the special task force happened to be in the area and intervened to know what was happening and two of them also were attacked by the citizens
