General Traffic Department Seized Vehicles In Sudden Traffic Campaign

Officers from General Traffic Department carried out sudden traffic campaign in all six governorates last week during which they issued traffic citations against 32,345 vehicles and 14 motorbikes, seized some of those vehicles, arrested 56 individuals for committing serious traffic violations and referred six individuals for deportation for driving without drivers’ licenses. The campaign was held for protecting road users and ensuring the traffic rules and regulations are being followed.
