Genuine Reforms In State Administration Says Mp

This year, we hope to see genuine reforms in State administration and ministerial work — particularly in the human rights field — while closing the past page along with granting amnesty to prisoners, reinstatement of citizenship and stopping prosecutions, says Chairman of the parliamentary Human Rights Committee MP Adel Al-Damkhi. Al-Damkhi said he wants to witness amnesty being granted to prisoners and reinstatement of citizenship for those stripped of their nationality unfairly through the initiative of his Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.

He disclosed that he and a group of MPs are working on these issues in order to close the past page soon under this initiative which, he believes, will please the people of Kuwait.
