Government Has Pledged To Solve The Sports Crisis Within 6 Months

The government has pledged to solve the sports ‘crisis’ within six months, MP Abdulwahab Al-Babtain said, and called on the international organizations to temporarily lift the sanctions on the sports movement in the State of Kuwait.

Al-Babtain pointed out he will coordinate with his colleagues who have requested for a special session to discuss the issue. For his part, MP Omar Al- Tabtabaei said the government has responded and pledged to resolve the sports crisis within six months. In a related issue, Al-Tabtabaei announced he and a number of MPs will submit a request for the formation of a sports committee to follow-up the issue of Kuwait’s suspension from sports activities
