Government Of India Revises Fees For Visa , Passport Services
The government of India has revised the fees for visa and passport services, says a press release issued by the Indian Embassy in Kuwait. The press release added, frequent Kuwaiti visitors to India from Kuwait, both Kuwaitis and expatriates residing in Kuwait are advised to take 5-year or 1-year, multiple entry business visas to India. Exclusive of service charge of KD 3.250 by CKGS, Kuwait and KD 1 for ICWF by the Embassy, the fee structure for Kuwaitis is as follows:
Tourist visa for 6 months/multiple entries will cost KD 13;
Business visa for 1 year/multiple entry KD 38;
Business visa, 5 years/multiple entry, KD 63.00;
Transit visa, 15 days single/ double entry, KD 7.
This is in addition to Student visa for 1year/triple entry, KD 24;
Medical visa, 1-year/multiple entry, KD 38;
Medical visa, 6 months/multiple entry,
KD 25 and Employment visa for up to 1-year/multiple entry is KD 38.
The Indian passport and visa services are provided by M/s Cox & Kings Services (CKGS), Kuwait for Kuwaitis, foreign nationals and Indian community living in Kuwait at three centers in Sharq (17 Floor, Behbehani Building, Tel. No. 22440392 (e-mail: indiavisa.kuwait@ckgs.com), Fahaheel (Kais Alghanim Complex, 4th Floor, Makkah Street, in front of Annod Complex, Tel. No. 22909229 and Jleeb Al Shuyoukh (Block 1,Street 1, Xcite Building, Tel. No. 24342428).

The above centers function from 8 am to 12 noon and 4 pm to 8 pm. The streamlining of visa procedures has seen an increase of visitors during the past two years.
All those travelling to India regularly are advised to apply for tourist visa (6-month multiple entry) or long-term business visa (5-year or 1-year, multiple entry). All visas are granted within 72 hours. In emergency cases, the Embassy will also accept the visa applications at its Visa Wing.

Fee structure for passport is as under:
Exclusive of service charge of KD 3.250 by CKGS,
Kuwait and KD 1.000 for ICWF by the Embassy
New Passport with 10 years validity will cost, KD 23; Jumbo Passport (60 pages), KD 31; New Passport for Minor below 18 years, KD 15.500; New Passport in Lieu of Damaged/Lost Passport, KD 46; Passport for New Born Baby, KD 31.
