Gtd Announced, Partial Closure Of Sixth Ring Road At Night Time

The General Traffic Department (GTD) has announced closure of Jassem Mohammad Al-Kharafi Road (Sixth Ring Road) for two weeks – from Dec 26, 2015 to Jan 9, 2016 between 1:00 am and 5:30 am.

In a press statement, the department explained the closure of the road is due to the installation of a part of the new bridge, affirming there will be an alternative side road on both sides – one heading towards Jahra and the other towards Messilah.

The Public Relations and Security Media Department advised those using the Sixth Ring Road and the roads in East Ardhiya to be careful. He called on them to abide by regulations on speed limits and traffic warning signs while using the detours on both sides for their safety.
