Huge Fire Gutted A Residential Building In Al-farwaniya

A huge fire gutted a residential building in Al-Farwaniya district in Kuwait.

The blaze first broke out in a flat located in the second floor before engulfing the whole building which covers 1200 square metres. 

Billowing columns of black smoke also spread to a neighbouring six-storey building. Three Civil Defence teams which included 45 firefighters, strove for hours before they put out the blaze.

The medical teams treated three children, two women and one man at the site of the blaze.

An investigation was launched to inquire into the causes of the blaze.
