Indian Boy Wins Kuwait Open U13 Lawn Tennis Title

Unseeded Satyansh Mani Tripathi, class VI student of FAIPS- DPS Kuwait claimed under 13 title of ongoing Kuwait Open 7 Lawn tennis tournament after registering comfortable 9-5 win over the second seed Mohsen Jamal.

It is the first time that an Indian and a non-club player claimed the Boy’s title in Kuwait Open tournament which is organized under the patronage of Kuwait & Arab Tennis Federation’s Chairman Sheikh Ahmad Al- Jaber Al- Abdullah Al- Sabah.

Satyansh has been playing Lawn Tennis since the age of 6yrs and this was his 4th attempt in Kuwait Open. In the last two edition he managed to enter the last 16 stage. Not being born in Kuwait he could not join local clubs for training however he pursued his passion and excelled under personal attention of his coaches Mr. Atul, Mr. Rey & Capt. Khaliq.
