Islamic New Year Holidays From October 14 To 17

A release from the Civil Service Commission says workers in ministries, government departments and agencies will enjoy four days holiday to mark the beginning of the Hijri New Year which falls on Wednesday, Oct 14. Thursday, Oct 15 will also be regarded as a day off in addition to the normal Friday and Saturday offs, which fall on Oct 16 and 17 respectively.
