Jubilation As Students Get Nod To Park In Tight Areas

Undersecretary of Ministry of Interior Lieutenant General Sulaiman Fahad Al-Fahad has issued an administrative circular for the officers of General Traffic Department, instructing them not to remove the number plates of vehicles belonging to university students who park at wrong places in their campuses and some hospitals.

This decision is aimed to show consideration for the situation of citizens and expatriates in some locations that lack sufficient parking areas. It was in response to some serious problems that arose from the removal of number plates of some cars earlier this week.

The leadership of students’ union at Kuwait University responded promptly to the incident, because there is insufficient space for them and it could degenerate to bigger problems.

This decision was received with jubilation among citizens and expatriates.
