Kd 67 Million Spent By Citizens, Expats During Ramadan

According to the Joint Automated Banking Services Co (K-Net), an unprecedented jump has been recorded in the banking transactions through automated banking by residents and Kuwaitis to buy food stuffs during the holy month of Ramadan.

According to K-Net authorities KD 67 million has been spent over the past 24 hours.

In a statement, Executive Chairman of K-Net Abdullah Al-Ajmi said the expenditure is diversified between sales and cash withdrawal – Cash withdrawal was KD 33 million and purchases using K-Net was KD 34 million.
