Kidzania Inaugurated Kids For A Greener World Environment Exhibition At The Avenues Mall

KidZania Kuwait inaugurated its 3rd ‘Kids for a Greener World’ environment exhibition at The Avenues Mall today in collaboration with the Ministry of  Education.

Running from April 10-14, the exhibition is an extension of KidZania’s annual ‘KidZ for a Greener World’ environmental awareness program. The exhibition also showcases artworks and images submitted by children from across Kuwait, and focuses on educating children on the importance of the environment and preservation of our natural resources.

The exhibition is open to all visitors of the mall and is located at the Second Avenue, The Avenues Mall.

Earlier in March, KidZania Kuwait gave children the opportunity to express their understanding of a green environment by either drawing a picture or snapping a photo that reflects the theme of a greener world. The opening of the exhibition, which now showcasing the top 80 competition entries, was attended by officials from the Ministry of Education and the Department of Private Education, educators from the American University of Kuwait and The American United School of Kuwait alongside KidZania Kuwait’s management team.

Fernando Medroa, Vice President of Leisure and Entertainment at M.H. Alshaya Co., said: “Since our inception in Kuwait, the Ministry of Education has been one of our key partners who offered tremendous support to all of our educational initiatives, to help children across different schools experience our wonderful edutainment concept.”

“We are pleased to join hands with them, once again,in launching this initiative as we firmly believe that children of all ages can positively change Planet Earth, and we would like to give them the chance to protect the environment and make eco-friendly practices their everyday habits."

KidZania Kuwait is a children’s city that uses ‘Edutainment’, a concept that combines education with entertainment to help develop children’s independent thinking skills while nurturing their creativity.
