Ku Plans To Open 13 Clinics At Many Locations

The Kuwait University (KU) is planning to open 13 clinics at its many locations to offer medical services to students and the academic community in general.

The University Secretary General Dr. Mohammad Abdulatif Al-Fares made the statement in a press release on Wednesday.

This is part of a strategy to provide requirements of public and preventive safety in the university, making it easier for ambulances to reach destination in case of emergency, he added. The clinic will offer first aid assistance and services, Al-Fares said.

He referred cooperation and the Ministry of Health saying that an ambulance station has been opened at the university in Khaldya, as a first stage. Other ones will follow in affiliate buildings in Kaifan and Shuwaikh.
