Kuwait Govt Discussed Gas Price Increase Impact On Taxi Fares

The interior and commerce ministries held a meeting to discuss the impact of the gasoline price increase on public transportation, including taxis. The meeting addressed the decision’s possible effect on taxi fares in Kuwait, considering the fact that taxis top the list of gasoline consumers in Kuwait. The committee did not make a public statement on the results of the meeting. The gasoline price in Kuwait will increase from next week, September 1st.
