Kuwait Labor Departments Continue To Issue Work Permits

Official Spokesperson of the Public Authority for Manpower and Director of Public Relations Department Aseel Al-Mazeed revealed that the labor departments continue to issue work permits for various companies as per the prevailing conditions.

Reacting to rumors that the authority has stopped issuing work permits due to the upcoming parliamentary elections, Al-Mazeed pointed out the issuance of work permits is in accordance with ministerial decision number 747 which authorizes the labor departments to issue work permits.

She clarified that according to the aforementioned decision, the issuance of work permits continues and there is no reason to stop it as long as there is no directive from the concerned authorities to do so.
