Kuwait Plan To Establish 3 Labor Cities In 3 Different Areas

Assistant Undersecretary for Planning and Development at Ministry of Public Works Abdulmohsen Al-Enzi affirmed that the ministry is working on a plan to establish three labor cities in three different areas during the coming phase, reports Al-Shahed daily.

He indicated that the main expatriate labor city will be located in the west of the Pilgrim City in Jahra area, revealing that a land of area 100,000 square meters has been allocated for this project, which is expected to be launched in August 2017. Al-Enzi said the second expatriate labor city will be located in the south of Jahra Municipality Scrapyard, indicating that the approval of the municipality in this regard is pending. He disclosed that the third expatriate labor city will be located in Ahmadi Governorate but the exact location is yet to be decided.
