Kuwait To Launch Insurance Hospitals For Expats - Moi

Minister of Health Dr. Ali Al-Obaidi announced on Monday that the Fatwa and Legislation Department of the Cabinet approved a project to provide medical insurance for expatriates via "the Heath Insurance Hospitals Company." The project, to be executed by the contracted company, falls in line of the government action policy and the State development strategy. He indicated that the project, to be executed according to international standards, had been examined by the Audit Bureau.
The venture will take off much of the burden on the hospitals in general. The shareholding company had been established in implementation of the Cabinet resolution stipulating partnership between the public and private sectors.
